Glad you liked the postcard, Subwaysurfer! I guess the best way to get my stuff is to order from the publisher at www.sparkplugcomicbooks.com. Or ask your shop to put in an order. I only have two comics out right now but will have something new and wonderful later in the year. And keep watching this site for new weekly strips and stuff.

I saw your postcard at my local comic shop in Brooklyn on Bergen street and went NUTS. "WHO IS THIS GUY?? " "DO YOU HAVE HIS BOOKS??"" of course they didnt and I called Jim Haley and they said you were an indy artist. I like your style. It's a throw back to that 50's retro cartooning vibe that I like and sometimes find creeping into my own work.
Give me some info on where I can get your stuff.

Nice. I can imagine reading this again with a snifter of scotch and some Enrico Caruso playing. I'm going to try it tomorrow. Cheers. Oh, and...twisted. But I'm sure that's what you were aiming for.

Dude I loved it. Especially the pacing and almost floating tone to it. Reminded me a bit of "Julius Knipl Real Estate Photographer" by Ben Katchor but with a much more beautifully dark bent.

The league between virtue and nature engages all things to assume a hostile front to vice. The beautiful laws and substances of the world persecute and whip the traitor. He finds that things are arranged for truth and benefit, but there is no den in the wide world to hide a rogue. There is no such thing as concealment. Commit a crime, and the earth is made of glass. Commit a crime, and it seems as if a coat of snow fell on the ground, such as reveals in the woods the track of every partridge and fox and squirrel and mole. You cannot recall the spoken word, you cannot wipe out the foot-track, you cannot draw up the ladder, so as to leave no inlet or clew. Always some damning circumstance transpires. The laws and substances of nature, water, snow, wind, gravitation, become penalties to the thief.

On the other hand, the law holds with equal sureness for all right action. Love, and you shall be loved. All love is mathematically just, as much as the two sides of an algebraic equation...

Humanity’s soul must be shaken to its very depths, frightened by unfathomable and seemingly senseless crimes. Crimes that benefit no one, whose only objective is to inspire fear and terror. Because the ultimate purpose of crime is to establish the endless empire of crime. A state of complete insecurity and anarchy, founded upon the tainted ideals of a world doomed to annihilation.

When humanity, subjugated by the terror of crime, has been driven insane by fear and horror, and when chaos has become supreme law, then the time will have come for the empire of crime.

David, A Drifting Life was pretty amazing actually. Required reading! I did it backwards--I read it first, and now am making my way through the hardcovers. My speed is directly related to how close I am to killing myself at the end of each story, so I've only read the first one so far.
